How To Recover a Lost NOL Card

There is a complete step-by-step procedure to recover the lost or stolen card safely. Here is a detailed breakdown to recover the lost NOL card. 

Note: The whole process is for lost registered NOL card. It is not possible to recover, replace, or transfer the balance of an unregistered NOL card.

Report And Deactivate

It is necessary to report the loss of your card as soon as possible. The RTA will deactivate your card within in few hours to prevent its misuse. Here is how to report the lost or stolen card to the Road and Transport Authority in Dubai:

  • Visit the RTA NOL official website and report your issue. You can also use the NOL Pay app for these tasks. 
  • Call the NOL helpline at 800-9090 and report your problem.
  • Visit your nearest NOL customer care center and report that your NOL card is lost. 

The RTA takes immediate action on your report and deactivates your card within a few hours. 

Replacement

Once the card is deactivated, you can apply for NOL card Renewal or replacement. Here is how to apply online:

  • First of all, visit the RTA NOL card replacement option on official portal and click on “Apply” button.
  • Login to your RTA account by using your login details. 
  • Once logged in, provide all the required details and follow the on screen instruction. 
  • You will have to pay a small replacement fee. The fee details are as follows:

Once you have replace you old NOl card with new one, you can apply for NOL balance refund or NOL balance transfer. 

  1. If you previous card balance was less than 100 ADE, you will get a NOL Cash refund. 
  2. If your balance was above 100 ADE, you can apply for NOL balance transfer.
